Our July travels began in Tahuya. Tahuya is not an Eastern European city, but a small town on the north shore of Hood Canal in Washington state. Town motto: What's it Tahuya? Tahuya celebrates July 4 with a chaming community festival and parade, where neighbors catch up, raise money for good causes and have agood time. For the parade, local folks build floats and throw candy to the kids.
We'll spend the next many hours lining up, waiting and sitting in airports and on airplanes. We've heard good things about SAS, and just hope they are true. See you in Riga!
