We started our visit to Buenos Aires with a walking tour offered by BA Free Tour of the main political areas. We started with the national Congress...
...saw the Pink House, which is the president's office (but not residence); the small flag denotes that the president is at work in the building, according to our guide Gaston, whose face is in the picture...
...the white handkerchief symbol of the mothers of the Plaza de Mayo who protested the disappearance of the children during the military rule...
...and the Barolo Palace with its tributes to Dante.
Our apartment is very nice, conveniently located, and air conditioned (after all, it is summer here).
This post is short on details but being a tourist is a full-time job.
We're glad you arrived safely. Thank you so much for the post and the pictures. Looking forward my vicarious travel adventure.
